I knit this shawl as part of a KAL on Ravelry.it was a lot of fun! Started Jan. 2009 Finished April 14, 2009. Thoughts: I love it! I think it is absolutely breathtaking (if I do say so myself). Labor was nothing like we had planned. Instead of the natural childbirth I was shooting for, we ended up having an emergency C-section. All that mattered is that we were both healthy. Last Saturday, the boyfriend and I packed up and took refuge at his parents house (they have a generator). But before we took off, a package from my secret pal arrived, and how sweet it was!
