Monday, December 8, 2008. Cool weather HOT fishing! This is my favorite time of year to be on the water. The fishing is as good as it gets around the mouth of the St. Johns river. Monday, May 26, 2008. A big fish day! I had Clayton and Mark aboard today. We were under the threat of rain all morning, but it never happened. Things started fast and slowed down just as fast. As Clayton and Mark picked up a few fish which were. Nice, I tried some topwater. I caught 2 nice trout the bigger one about 3 1/2 lbs. Then Clayton ties into a whopper! After several drag smoking runs and a lot of dogging, we put a awesome 7 lb. gator in the net! As per before, I go back to topwater and Wham!

Saturday, March 29, 2008. Offshore with the boys. I took My son and his 3 buddies visiting from college. We started in close as the weather guessers said the wind and seas would pick up. It was a gorgeous morning and the wind settled down to make for a flat sea. The water was'nt to good looking colorwise and we poked through a few short snapper. We tried 3 spots a little further out, with the same results, more shorts. Next week will be back to intense fish finding and catching! Offshore with the boys.
