The aims of the circle are:. To foster the art of writing in all its forms. To give help and guidance to members, particularly those writing for publication. To provide a common meeting ground for all persons who, either as critics or writers, are sympathetic to these aims. We meet on the 2 nd. Monday from September to July between 7pm and 9pm at:. ROATH, CARDIFF, CF24 3JW. A special welcome is extended to members friends and to any others who are interested in writing for publication.

There are 4 annual competitions for circle members -. The Hilda McKenzie Trophy (Short Story). Short fiction of any genre up to a maximum of 2500 words. One entry only per member. See also general competition rules: (click here). The Tony Rowe Bowl (Poetry). Poetry up to 40 lines maximum. Entries up to 2 per person using the same nom-.
