Life events and ideas from a Christian school teacher. Monday, September 29, 2008. Creating a Kandinsky (the 2nd grade version). First begin with color copies of a few Kandinsky paintings. Next, have the students gather elements from nature. Place the elements on white 8 1/2 x 11 paper and trace around. The natural elements in an abstract manner. We used at least 9 elements such. Life events and ideas from a Christian school teacher. Monday, March 30, 2009. I have been using mechanical pencils for many years. They are very convenient, never need sharpening, and are fairly cheep. Since going back to school have been spending more and more time on my computer, using my mechanical pencils and a computer mouse.
