The food pantry distributed over $300,000 in food last year, if the food is valued at retail value. Caring and Sharing is able to obtain this food for an average of 15% of its full value. Lately supplies have been scant, and the group has needed to purchase some food staples at the market. Caring and Sharing takes applications for needy children who will be given a gift box of clothing and toys for Christmas. Caring and Sharing sponsors a pileau dinner each year to raise funds.
