We hope that you enjoy listening to them. Christmas Day Service not at KEC. We were not able to meet as usual In KEC, so we held a Christmas Morning Service at our Pastor’s house. We managed to squeeze in with all the visitors and together celebrated the birth of our Saviour. More interested in exploring the restaurant rather than the food.

The inspiration came from the work of Caring for Life ( www.caringforlife.co.uk. A Christian charity which supports those on the margins of society. So far, we have a community allotment project in South Wales and are beginning to think about branching out into social enterprise. The rest of the tale contains ‘things unknown’.

Perhaps the greatest lesson to be learned from Watts' poetry is his understanding of how we read and interpret all of Scripture; Watts, like Spurgeon and the best preachers of the past and present, made a beeline for the cross, and so must we. This is a profitable read and a must for any lover of Watts' hymns. For those who are not familiar with his hymns, may this book serve as a taster to whet the appetite. Links to this post.
