May 31, 2015. Ali is 7 months old! Ali is 7 months old! I call her my little wiggle-worm! She just likes to move and wants to be doing it on her own so bad! She is still so close to crawling! She understands how to move her legs, but hasn’t quite realized how to move her arms as well so that she can get to places. May 29, 2014. Olivia's 1st birthday party. We had fun celebrating Olivia's first birthday with family and some close friends. Luke and I had a little too much fun getting her gifts ready. I did everything I could to keep it simple and I liked how everything turned out. We played a fun game of Baby O bingo and then had snacks while O opened presents. May 31, 2015. Ali is 6 months old! Half of a year has gone by with this little one! She has the most perfect rosy cheeks, which is due to some mild eczema, but they are still cute nonetheless. Ali is so good at pulling on and sucking on my hair and giving big, wet, open mouthed kisses on my chin and cheeks. She really loves having her hair brushed, chewing on tags (found on blankets, toys, clothing, etc), chewing on and playing with clean diapers, and looking at her reflection in the mirror and oven door.

July 9, 2013. O is 5 months old! 8230;And still a content and happy baby! Poppy (Grandpa Nielson), requested a picture of a meltdown since all the pictures he receives are always of her smiling. I had to put her on her tummy just to get the picture. Tummy time, too much noise, and strangers are what get to her. If that’s the case, she’ll let you know. December 13, 2013. O is 10 months old! She just keeps getting more and more fun! This month brought lots of standing and more babbling. She has even ventured to standing without holding onto anything. This has only lasted for a few seconds, but I still think she’s a brave girl! And she is crawling up the stairs like it is no big deal. This past month she got 2 more teeth! Tooth #2 was her bottom left front tooth, which came in on Nov. 18. August 11, 2013. Today I found this. Did I ever mention that Gentry is one of the funniest people that I know? Can't wait till he's home! August 7, 2013. Tonight I didn't eat dinner, just no-bake cookies. It was beautiful outside, so Baby O and I took a little walk before bedtime. November 24, 2013. She is our favorite, by far. She has started using her pointer finger! She points at things and uses her pincher grasp to try and pick things up. I have caught her with her finger in her nose a time or two. There is just so much to be explored! It is few and far between, but she has started clapping in response to “YAY”. April 20, 2015. Ali is 5 months old! Ali has started rolling more and she reaches for everything in sight! It is so fun to watch her successfully grab objects that she tries so hard to get! Ali is still constantly straining to sit up and looks like she’s trying to do sit ups. I keep joking that she has way better abs than me (maybe it’s more a truth than a joke)! When excited, she moves her arms up and down very fast and she ends up hitting her tummy over and over again when this happens. Ali is 1 month!

January 25, 2014. The end of 2013. We had a busy, yet wonderful end to 2013. However, when I picked up O after my last day of work, I hugged her a little closer because I was so grateful that I had her and Luke. October 15, 2013. O is 8 months old! What a fun girl! This month O starting clicking her tongue and has been quite intrigued! She started showing off a new scrunchy face. That’s pretty cute/funny. She helps me turn the pages in her books when we are reading and she loves on her stuffed animals by grabbing them and squeezing them up against her mouth while making a growling noise. O also got to check out the swings at the park for the first time. She loves them! We only wish the warm weather would last!
