Sunday, January 22, 2012. Friday, January 20, 2012. Did I tell you. That I have the best friends? Today we came home to this love of family and friends on our door as well as a basket of goodies. Chemo went well, we were there for about 4.5 hours. It was a little emotionally overwhelming but the nurses were great. A couple friends that work for Swedish stopped by too which was really nice. Thursday, January 19, 2012. Got a call that due to power being out at the hospital, chemo was cancelled for the day. They will call in the morning and let me know if we are on for tomorrow. If you don't have a Boy Scout, or at least a backpacking stove, I'd highly recommend getting one. And some Starbucks Via. Power or no power, Mama needs her coffee. Luke's team has been doing really well. They play double-headers every Saturday and one game during the week. Last night they played and the final score was 15-2! Trying to find joy in the journey. Wednesday, February 20, 2013. We were able to head to St. George over President's Day weekend to spend some time in the sun and watch a little soccer. Elizabeth's team ended up being the champions of their age division! It was kicked so hard it knocked their goalie over as she tried to attempt to stop it. Trying to find joy in the journey. Sunday, March 25, 2012. Spring Sports have begun! Elizabeth had her first soccer game of the season. Her team looked fantastic! David is the coach of her team. Elizabeth had an amazing breakaway to score the first goal of the game. She also had two great assists for two more goals! Her team won 4-0. Kennedy's team doesn't have her first game until next week. GO SHOOTERS! The day was topped off with a trip to Barry's for some chicken sandwiches and fries.

Saturday, February 18, 2012. The last few weeks have been a whirlwind, I've had two chemo treatments, kidney stones, quit my job, and sadly lost a friend this week. After my 1st chemo, I noticed my urine was really dark (sorry, probably TMI) so I had an appointment with a urologist, including x-ray, which showed Kidney Stones; go me. My oncologist and urologist are in agreement we will want to treat these until I'm done with chemo - enough is enough. My main reason for the changes was the commute. I ...
