http://carolflatt.blogspot.com/2014/08/the-shell-seekers-9-x-12-pastel.html

Painting art blog pastel oil. Friday, August 15, 2014. The Shell Seekers 9" X 12" Pastel. The coastal towns of central California -Monterey and Pacific Grove - are wonderfully scenic and a great environment for enjoyment and for learning. People climb the rocks looking for shells or enjoying the tidepools that are teaming with life. We watched these two young ladies climb all over several formations fascinated with every nook and crevice. This painting is available at Daily Paintworks. Click HERE. Before...

Painting art blog pastel oil. Monday, July 28, 2014. Landon's Rose 5" X 7" Oil on panel. July 28, 2014 at 8:33 PM. You created the most wonderful depth in that rose. Great job. Love grandchildren, each and every one of them. July 30, 2014 at 10:44 AM. Helen, thank you so much. I struggled when I first started painting with the range of yellows. I couldnt seem to find more than 4-5 values, but eventually included raw sienna which gave me more options. Grandkids are great, arent they? It was a delicate lit...

http://carolflatt.blogspot.com/2015/02/how-sweet-it-is-8-x-8-oil-on-canvasboard.html

Painting art blog pastel oil. Sunday, February 1, 2015. How Sweet It Is! 8" X 8" Oil on c/b SOLD. As time permits, I plan to do some experimentation with gouache, watercolor and acrylic paints which I have tried only minimally so far. I also would like to try a broader range of subject matter including some abstract work. With my fellow bloggers I have so many fine examples of quality work and ideas shared. I can't wait to start! And, I gradually will catch up with posting comments on all of your blogs!

Carol Flatt Art: Chock Full 11" X 14" Oil on panel

http://carolflatt.blogspot.com/2014/12/chock-full-11-x-14-oil-on-panel.html

Painting art blog pastel oil. Monday, December 1, 2014. Chock Full 11" X 14" Oil on panel. It looks like I've been on a tomato kick for awhile with the last two posts. I enjoy painting tomatoes with their different shades of reds, oranges and greens. I painted the shapes of the tomatoes first and let them dry. Then, I began to glaze them using thin coats of paint and linseed oil. This will be available at auction on DailyPaintworks beginning Tuesday, December 2nd. Here is a LINK. The best part is the gla...

Carol Flatt Art: Play Time! Testing New Waters!

http://carolflatt.blogspot.com/2015/05/play-time-testing-new-waters.html

Painting art blog pastel oil. Wednesday, May 6, 2015. Many of you who use water media may be already very familiar with this product. I've been using primarily oil paints and pastels, so when I saw an ad for BRUSHO I thought perhaps I could use it for the underpaintings I do for pastel. Besides, I have always carried a secret desire to do some abstract watercolors and thought this product might be fun to try for effects. Used on regular w/c paper. Leaf Green on Yupo. Leaf Green and Yellow Ochre on regula...

Art Adventures in Asia by Shelby Dillon: October 2012

http://shelbydillon.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html

Small Daily Paintings in Oil. Available Art For Sale. Monday, October 15, 2012. Holiday Cheer study - SOLD. To see other available work. I have been remiss in posting, but part of that is because I sold so many paintings in the last week, I have had to hole myself up in the studio. That, and I've been working on some larger pieces so they're not ready to post yet. Overall, not a bad problem to say the least. This is one of the guys that sold before I could even post it! Art Adventures in Asia by Shelby Dillon: Emerald Sunset

http://shelbydillon.blogspot.com/2012/09/emerald-sunset.html

Small Daily Paintings in Oil. Available Art For Sale. Sunday, September 30, 2012. 1,500 (SGD $1,850). This is honestly one of my favorite pieces that I have completed. I love Emerald Hill. It has been gentrified yes, but it just looks so beautiful when the shophouses are lit up at night. It is currently hanging up in my dining room, and I'll only release it to a very good home, I've been enjoying it too much! Having a rotating collection of artwork is kind of one of the perks of being an artist.

Who would have ever thought we could take pictures with a phone? Orthat we could have a phone with us where ever we went? NEW WORK...

Carol Carmichael Paints: sweet emotion

http://www.carolcarmichaelpaints.com/2015/03/sweet-emotion.html

A little bit of everything. Monday, March 30, 2015. I decided to fit in one more longhorn painting. Working with the horns can make for some interesting composition. The painting is a little washed out in both of these pictures. I am lucky it is still worth photographing because I dropped it into the rosemary bushes twice. I will never learn. Always in a hurry. This is painted on a 20 x 40 x 2" canvas. March 30, 2015 at 9:19 PM. Very striking - as you said, interesting composition. One of your best!
