Two years too long | Caroline's Photo Blog
https://ccbinsights.wordpress.com/2014/01/07/two-years-too-long
Caroline's Photo Blog. Mostly photos but occasional insights. Two years too long. January 7, 2014. This poor blog deserves some sort of revival. I don’t have too many recent images; it has been a long, dry spell for my photography. But here are some from the past year at least, establishing myself here in Colorado, traveling, hiking, loving, living as much as possible. A new year, new possibilities, so many new images on their way…. This slideshow requires JavaScript. From → Photography.

Today, instead of running around Sloan’s Lake, I walked around it with a camera. Here are a selection of images – reminders that winter carries its own beauty. Take a walk; take a look around. You never know what may be happening outside your door. This slideshow requires JavaScript. From → Photography. Larr; Two years too long. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Words, Photos, and occasional Insight: February 2009
http://ccbinsight.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Words, Photos, and occasional Insight. Saturday, February 28, 2009. Do you know how much a ticket to Woodstock cost? 7 Seven dollars. Seven dollars! In photo news, I finally finished, after many failed attempts at different gallery formats, my story on Senator Jeanne Shaheen. I won't post all of the pictures here, but I will direct you. Why yes, that is the back of our President's head. The ever-popular Massachusetts Representative Barney Frank in Statuary Hall. . Tuesday, February 24, 2009. 160;As ...

Get your head out of the mud, baby. Balance regained: an annual event. June 8, 2016. The unconscious weight that bears down before a visit to the oncologist is never fully felt until after it dissipates, and the lightness of relief sets in. A little, I offered sheepishly, feeling exposed. She tried the other arm; a bit lower, but still high. She offered some other suggestions: a salty dinner last night? Oh, goddamn you, coffee.) But it wasn’t anything external, just my body betraying those innermost ...

Running through my thoughts: June 2013
http://thoughtlessrunning.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Running through my thoughts. Friday, June 14, 2013. Than the rest of the winter; how I moved in with my love and got straight As in the classes I took this semester. So far, this year has been all kinds of ridiculous and not at all easy. Writing is one of the greatest catharses in my life, as is running. It makes all too much sense to me to combine both in one epic quest for enlightenment. Or peace. Or a better finishing time. All of those things! Links to this post. Running through my thoughts. Monday, November 24, 2014. And yet I took that leap and began a combined Communications/Corporate Social Responsibility internship with DaVita HealthCare Partners because thank Godness an employee on the Communications team thought I was worth their. Risk, experience be damned. I am grateful for life and for right now and for where I came from and wherever tomorrow takes me. How about you; what would you say in a gratitude circle, today? Running through my thoughts: January 2013
http://thoughtlessrunning.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Running through my thoughts. Friday, January 4, 2013. Last time I wrote, I was a few days away from my chem final and my quarterly PET scan. I ended up with an A in my class and a clear scan. Hooray! I also found out that after six weeks, my immunoglobulin levels had fallen to nearly undetectable levels. Boo! Like I said, if I can do that successfully, everything else will happen as it should. And finally, a challenge! Making time for breakfast? I think resolutions are stupid, hyped expectations that gen...
