Wednesday, May 8, 2013. Another bone bites the dust! More change. My stint as Nana/nanny was over almost before it began. Ten days keeping the youngest two g'sons and getting to see all three on an almost daily basis was like water to a thirsty soul. I love my boys! But even though I miss being with them, even I recognize that it is in their best interest to be with other children and to socialize daily. Monday, December 16, 2013. We'll burn in the sunshine.we'll wait in the rain! At last our long awaited cruise was rapidly approaching.along with a record-breaking arctic blast of a winter storm.dire predictions for an ice/sleet storm and temperatures in the teens with windchill temps in the single digits. And when was this hellacious storm to arrive? Yep, on the morning we were scheduled to leave for Houston. There was only one thing that we could do.start our vacation a day early! So we did exactly that!

Wednesday, December 31, 2014. A Trip of Uncertainty. Friday, Nov. 28. We continued to drive until it was way dark and we crossed into Mississippi. We located an RV park, pulled in, hooked up, ate dinner and called it an early night. Saturday, Nov. 29. We got up early, had breakfast, unhooked and were on the road by 8:15am. Good timing!
