We decided to do something different for New Year's Eve this year and throw a Tacky Sweater Party with some of our friends and their families. Who knew that wearing the ugliest sweater you can find could be so much fun. There was a prize for the best tacky sweater. Can you guess who the winner was from the pictures? Here's to a fun and "tacky" 2009!

Wednesday, May 20, 2009. It seemed like it took forever but, I finally made it! I graduated with my Master's in Education from Baker University last Sunday. I completed the program with two of my best friends. We had a great party together on Saturday and enjoyed our big day on Sunday. Thank you everyone who sent me cards, gifts, and good wishes! Monday, April 6, 2009. This was the first year we tried decorating eggs for Easter with Caden. He did a very good job . Now he can't wait until he can eat them with toast for breakfast. Wednesday, October 14, 2009. St Louis Mini Vacation. It's been a while since we have posted anything. We just haven't had much going on lately. Since school has started we have just been busy with working. Yuck! Caden loved the Clydesdale's. Our final stop was Potosi. We made it just in time for the wedding, danced the night away at the reception, and finished the evening with a hallway party in the hotel. Good times were had by all and it was so nice to get away for the weekend as a family!

Saturday, April 4, 2009. Caden and I went to the KU. Women's Championship game today with our friends the Brown's and Spangler's. They were not able to pull off the win, but it was a very loud and exciting game. Caden's favorite part was the little Jayhawk. Playing basketball. We had a great time! Beware of the PHOG.
