Thursday, May 22, 2008. April was a month for finishing projects and gathing supplies for the future, along with some time for a vacation break. I needed it. Also, much time in the month of April was spent searching for a new home and studio. I have been packing up the home and studio for the move, and in the midst of all of this, CARTER SAFARI was a participant in the Alberta Street Art Hop. It was so hot! I hope to have the new studio set up by June 5th, and look forward to getting back to work.

Wednesday, January 27, 2010. East Coast, Baby! It has been far too long since I have contributed to this blog. Months! Carter Safari is now based on the East Coast in the town of Wenham, Massachusetts. The Studio space is small, and enclosed within the living quarters of a private residence. Currently, I am running low on business cards and brand labels! Perhaps if I can boost my sales in the next few months or luck into some windfall of prosperity, I will move along with those items and production.

Saturday, January 26, 2008. This is the first Blog. Today marks the end of the first week with an intern at CARTER SAFARI. K is helping with pressing, and cutting and a little bit of sewing. She has minimal sewing experience, so we are taking that slowly. We are getting things going and she will be posting pictures as the items are completed.
