This winding path leads to the towns and tribal lands of Pojoaque.Chimayo and places in between. The scenery is so picturesque.I could have sworn it was "cut and pasted" from a movie set. Then.stop at Rancho de Chimayo. For lunch. YEOW! Inside these walls is the hottest Green Chile stew I have EVER eaten! St Raphael the Archangel. Patron saint in the courtyard.

The sun is lower in the sky. The mountains are covered with yellow and orange splashes of color. So, off we drove with mama in tow with memories of Taos flooding her with nostalgia of childhood. This is the day to meander the towns using the road which leads right back to Taos.and home. Lonesome Pine Locals at Lunch.
