About Casey Blanchard - Artist Statement
http://www.caseyblanchard.com/aboutme_statement.html
Some people are lucky to love their work. Perhaps they love to deliver babies, pound nails, cook exquisite meals, inspire students, or navigate the seas. I love to make art, to interpret and share my experiences, through the art form of monoprinting. The process of monoprinting is engaging, surprising, fluid, and in the moment. It is unpredictable and fun. Can it make a difference in the journey? Thank you for viewing my art. Images and text by Casey Blanchard © 2015.

About Casey Blanchard - Biography
http://www.caseyblanchard.com/aboutme_bio.html
After a long roundabout, Casey has returned to visual arts focusing on monoprinting and painting. During her travels, in her backyard or internationally, Casey considers no "found" object too grand or too insignificant to express spirit and soul in the printing medium (the only challenge being the US customs folks and the printing press). Casey was born in 1953 in Greenwich, CT, U.S.A. She lives with her coffee guy husband, Dan Cox, and their daughter, Julia in Shelburne, Vermont. Her art...

About Casey Blanchard - Brief Biography
http://www.caseyblanchard.com/aboutme_briefbio.html
Primarily a self-taught artist, Casey explores her experiences through the engaging and often unpredictable print medium of monoprinting. She is most interested in the spiritual aspects that emerge in the image, particularly relating to how we live in the world and how the world lives in us. In the beginning the work may be a search for answers, but in the end it's more about being here without them. Images and text by Casey Blanchard © 2015. Web design by Dee Dee O'Brien Designs LLC.
