http://lurban.livejournal.com/53121.html
Because small things matter. Powered by LiveJournal.com. The Picture Book that became Hound Dog True. Like my first novel, A Crooked Kind of Perfect. Began as a picture book. It started with the characters: shy Mattie, gregarious Uncle Potluck, a Mama who seemed not to understand her daughter entirely. The moon was there from the beginning, too. But not much else. Over the next few weeks, I thought Id talk a little bit about the evolution of Hound Dog True. Now remember, this is an early. I really enjoye...

Well, you start with an absolutely hilariously brilliant verse that rhymes "booger" and "sugar," but after being informed that booger and sugar do not rhyme for all readers, you reconsider. So you think, "Haiku's short," and you do this:. She uses good vanilla. She uses good vanilla. When she runs out of pepper,. The universe is still. And that says a lot.
