Home on the Range - Find The Trimmers: The Great American Road Trip
http://www.findthetrimmers.com/1/post/2011/09/home-on-the-range.html
Where are the Trimmers? Home on the Range. Van, which is a converted Dodge cargo van. It was a really similar setup to the Vanagon, but with a different kind of pop-up top and a little more modern. The next day in Cody, Tom worked for a little bit in the morning and I cruised around downtown on my bike. I went to the Dug-up Gun Museum. Two days of driving around the park was enough for us at that point, so we headed south to Teton National Park for some backpacking and camping. When Mary Goes Out.

The Vinowagon - Find The Trimmers: The Great American Road Trip
http://www.findthetrimmers.com/1/post/2011/10/the-vinowagon.html
Where are the Trimmers? This marks the halfway point of our time away from home! About six weeks ago we set out on this awesome trip and it feels like the time has just flown by. We decided to pamper ourselves a little bit for a day or two in Sonoma wine country. We found an amazing B&B in Healdsburg, CA, which is a new center for the Russian River Valley wineries. The Camellia Inn. Where the food was great but the staff never smiled. Photos from the Camellia Inn website. Apparently he is only there on w...

If it Ain't Broke... - Find The Trimmers: The Great American Road Trip
http://www.findthetrimmers.com/1/post/2011/11/if-it-aint-broke.html
Where are the Trimmers? If it Ain't Broke. I forget what comes next. Apparently we really did forget the rest of that little gem, because here we are, back in SLO fixing all the things that aren’t broken on the Westy! Not that we’re complaining. This is the happiest place on earth according to Oprah herself. There is so much to do here that we could never be bored. Here are a few pics from the beautiful reception. First we hit the Tesla. From Pinnacles, we continued back to SLO and had a lovely Westy din...

South Dakota: Land of Awesome Attractions - Find The Trimmers: The Great American Road Trip
http://www.findthetrimmers.com/1/post/2011/09/south-dakota-land-of-awesome-attractions.html
Where are the Trimmers? South Dakota: Land of Awesome Attractions. It was really fun to watch and walk around. Finally after many hours of driving, we arrived at the world-renowned Wall Drug! Now, 80 years later, Wall Drug is an enormous complex including a leather shop, jewelry store, chapel, cafe (which seats over 500 people), taxidermy displays, photo exhibits, and even an animatronic T-Rex! It's a wild place! Tom looks terrified by the t-rex! Glad you guys are having fun:). When Mary Goes Out. Start ...

Bike, Climb, Surf, Beer, Sleep, Repeat - Find The Trimmers: The Great American Road Trip
http://www.findthetrimmers.com/1/post/2011/11/bike-climb-surf-beer-sleep-repeat.html
Where are the Trimmers? Bike, Climb, Surf, Beer, Sleep, Repeat. An aside about the Westy tune-up, we had planned on bringing her to GoWesty. The renowned Westfalia shop here in SLO, but as of September they no longer do repairs, only rebuilds. They recommended Broad Street Automotive. Back to our SLOventures! After checking out downtown, we met Will for a lunch-break mountain bike ride. Will works for SRAM. That night we headed out to SLO Brew. That’s a serious deal and we definitely took advantage.

Westy Coast to Coast! - Find The Trimmers: The Great American Road Trip
http://www.findthetrimmers.com/1/post/2011/10/westy-coast-to-coast.html
Where are the Trimmers? Westy Coast to Coast! Well this post is late in coming! We spent two nights in Sun Valley, ID exploring the town and surrounding area. Tom found a great mountain bike trail that headed up towards the gondolas and I found some great running trails and the $5 shower at the local YMCA! They were excited to see Tom and invited us over for dinner and to stay the night. We had a great time hearing stories about Tom's parents in their college years. The next morning we were up early and ...

SV FLUENTA: January 2015
http://sv-fluenta.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Your browser does not support iframes. Tuesday, 27 January 2015. We just finished a great three weeks in BC visiting friends and family, catching up on admin (home school HQ visit, dental readiness inspections and maintenance, etc) and actually relaxing. We based ourselves at my sister's and her family's house in Victoria where the like-aged cousins could play non-stop. I also had a chance to visit my old squadron, 443 (Maritime Helicopter). Victoria presenting to her cousin's grade five class. I started...

What did Miss Issippi say to Miss Ouri? - Find The Trimmers: The Great American Road Trip
http://www.findthetrimmers.com/1/post/2011/09/what-did-miss-issippi-say-to-miss-ouri.html
Where are the Trimmers? What did Miss Issippi say to Miss Ouri? That joke has been stuck in my head since we drove into Idaho two days ago. We headed out of Jackson, WY, but not before stopping at an awesome little natural grocery store to restock our food supply. It was called Jackson Whole Grocer. Sailboat. It's a really cool design, a 36-foot catamaran that collapses into a trailer-able boat. It's a one-of-a-kind design that he is outfitting for the journey. It was a great time and so awes...Rememberi...

SV FLUENTA: Fulanga Photos
http://sv-fluenta.blogspot.com/2015/07/fulanga-photos.html
Your browser does not support iframes. Sunday, 26 July 2015. Liz has already reported in detail about our stay in Fulanga but here are a few photos and then a few more (and then a few more) . Mother - Daughter Reef Lookout Team. Always someone on the bow when we move around in a lagoon. Someone went aground in the pass when we were there even though they had a good lookout so you cannot be too vigilant. Returning from doing our first sevusevu. More adventures in extreme nursing. And it is a nice beach.

SV FLUENTA: 17 Jul - Gau - Kid boats on the move
http://sv-fluenta.blogspot.com/2015/07/fluenta-17-jul-gau-kid-boats-on-move.html
Your browser does not support iframes. Saturday, 18 July 2015. 17 Jul - Gau - Kid boats on the move. I should be able to write a shorter email tonight! It is just after midnight, and Benjamin has just fallen asleep. His afternoon nap was a bit late, so I think I just paid the price for a long morning / midday of snorkelling :). The coral here is extraordinary. A few special moments:. Seeing sharks way, way down at the bottom, ignoring us. Seeing the way the colours jump to life when the sun came out.
