The little house in the big yard. Just another WordPress.com weblog. In the big yard. In the big yard. So the final tally of plants is this: zinnias, cosmos, morning glories, bachelors buttons, possible hollyhocks, sweat peas and that’s about it! A very delicate matter. So just for today:. With 6 orange trees on the north side of our home full of orange blossoms, the smell is so heavenly! We love to sit and read in the front room just to enjoy our natural perfume. Another plant for the generational garden.

Bottled Ponderings: The Baking Girl: Oreo Cookies
http://bottledponderings.blogspot.com/2015/05/the-baking-girl-oreo-cookies.html
12/Year Monthly Photo Diary 2013. Sunday, May 31, 2015. The Baking Girl: Oreo Cookies. Has been busy in the kitchen despite the absence of baking posts here. Part of the reason is that I gave up sugar for Lent so I ignored her baking! I don't think I could have given up sugar if it wasn't Lent. And there I was thinking it was such a paltry sacrifice since I am not a big sugar fan (or at least it's not my comfort food). So wrong. So in denial. Coffee without sugar? Have you eaten oatmeal with no sugar?

If you ever blow a tire on the highway in Pa, you have 3 days from the time it is tagged before it is towed or ticketed. We are at 48 hours. lol. I wonder if they will buy the following story if we go a little longer than 3 days. We can show up with a video camera, reality tv style and say:. We are doing a documentary. Poor Malachy has the cold now. So he keeps wakin...

Belleview Blogger: Many thoughts and feelings

Catholic homeschooling on Belleview Blvd. Or, Dottie O'Neil's life. a wordy, wild, whorlwind of wonderful. Monday, November 2, 2009. Many thoughts and feelings. First feeling: worried about money. I hate worrying about money. I hate that Terry doesn't talk or think about money the same way I do. I wish I had complete control, then the entire family would really be mad at me. :). Of course if he left the priesthood I suppose I need to wonder if he did me any favors (as in did he "break "some law) by givin...

Imperfect Counsels of a Christian Mother. In all fairness I suppose it should also be added that this is mostly the way that I knit as well, as a dear friend of mine calls it, “knitting on the fly.”. This is just another example of how the fall has affected me and my “Eve”. I, the ” rebel of recipes! Man’s Man Soup. Fair amount of beef (steak or roast) cubed and salted. A couple of chopped onions. A few diced celery stalks. Half a clove of finely diced garlic. A few tablespoons of flour (for thickness).

Thursday, May 24, 2007. Templates, High-heels, and What Really Matters. I traded in vanity for practicality. The other template which caused me to lose all my "widgets" was like a beautiful pair of high heels, it looked great but was way too much trouble. Today was one of those days. I only have a few minutes tonight so this is all the progress I'll be able to make. Check out the clock (to your left)! It isn't pretty but I thought it was really fun so I put it up for a while. Bottled Ponderings: December 2014
http://bottledponderings.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
12/Year Monthly Photo Diary 2013. Monday, December 15, 2014. The Baking Girl : Mini Apple Galettes. Is a fan of the Pioneer Woman. After a recent episode on mini blueberry galettes, the Baking Girl and I decided we would love an apple version. Fancy as the name sounds, a galette is really just an apple pie with no top crust. I think I posted a regular sized galette before but I can't seem to find it. Anyhow this is just a miniature version, perfect for little hands and mouths. Hard working little hands.

Catholic homeschooling on Belleview Blvd. Or, Dottie O'Neil's life. a wordy, wild, whorlwind of wonderful. Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Easter afternoon we headed down to GA because Terry has a meeting at Warner Robins. We took the 5 youngest and stopped in VA. Monday we continued on with a stop at Alfred and Dave's BBQ in N Carolina. I wish we could stop for some educational enrichment, but we have a deadline. Perhaps on the way back home.
