Since I haven't posted pretty much all summer, I am going to recap all the things I've done since June in a few posts. The first one is about my brother's family coming to visit me in DC toward the end of June. Leili in the prehistoric shark's jaws! This one of the cutest pictures ever.Leili running to Daddy! Thursday, January 7, 2010. After working at the PTO for a year and a half, the first patent I allowed has finally issued! Here is the first page, you can find my name listed as the "assistant examiner". Although it says assistant examiner, I actually am the one who does all the examining for the case, but my boss is listed as the primary examiner because I don't have the authority to allow anything without his approval (and I won't for about 5 more years.). Sunday, November 22, 2009. Youre not the only one. I came into work one day last week, and they were already putting the gigantic tree and wreaths up in our atrium.
