A Cord of Three Strands: Camping
http://alexandbethwise.blogspot.com/2009/09/camping.html
Tuesday, September 8, 2009. Alex and I celebrated the holiday by going camping with our friends, Benjamin and Alaina. We went to Tyler State Park for Friday and Saturday night. Here are some highlights:. I locked the keys in the car on Friday night after laughing about a roommate that did it in college. It took us four hours to get it open. We went canoeing in Tyler lake and had a race. Alex and I cleaned up. We made three course meals with a silicone spork/knife/spatula. A Cord of Three Strands.

Life in the City: can I go back to college?
http://rebekahinphilly.blogspot.com/2009/10/can-i-go-back-to-college.html
Sunday, October 11, 2009. Can I go back to college? College. Is currently eating my lunch. I went to Philly last week for ten days for my Urban Studies Graduate Program Residency (it looks more important capitalized). I spent my days in a class room for the entire day. It was good. I met lots of awesome people. Hung out with old awesome friends. I decided that I really love this program. What don't I love do you ask? But really Dr. Corbitt. Do I have to have this many sources? Life in the City: March 2009
http://rebekahinphilly.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 20, 2009. Cake balls and higher education. Today I borrowed a car and drove about 13 miles and entered an alternative universe. Some friends and I went to Eastern University to talk to the School of Leadership and Development about further education. It was really weird being on a college campus, especially one full of trendy Christians. Other than that I just wanted to post some pictures of March, which has by far been the busiest month of my life. It has flown. Of Partridge Family fame.

Letters of L*i*F*E: Dear Spring Break - you were great to me.
http://msugal86.blogspot.com/2009/03/dear-spring-break-you-were-great-to-me.html
Monday, March 23, 2009. Dear Spring Break - you were great to me. So this past week was Spring Break, and let me tell you - it could NOT have come at a better time! Gosh I needed a break from this place! Well, I think everyone needed a break. I'm afraid a few more days here and most of us would have climbed the bell tower going insane. Here I stayed and helped Shahala count pennies from last week's GREEK WEEK PENNY WAR. And let me tell you, coins are gross! Here is us with the monkey's at the zoo:. So we...

A Cord of Three Strands: Being an adult....
http://alexandbethwise.blogspot.com/2009/06/being-adult.html
Saturday, June 20, 2009. Is tiring. I am full swing into my new job. I am really really loving it. The kids are so cute, the people are so nice, but I am tired all the time. Who knew that working full time would be exhausting? Gosh, when's my next nap? Here are a few tidbits that you might enjoy:. We took the kids to Hawaiian Falls (a small local waterpark) and I was in charge of the kindergarteners and 1st graders. One of my kids pooped in her bathing suit and I had to "take care of it". Wow. This past ...

A Cord of Three Strands: September 2008
http://alexandbethwise.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 30, 2008. WARNING: If you tend to feel vomitous at things that are sweet and/or romantic, you may want to avoid this post.). Probably not. Carrying on.) It was written in fake Italian-English. So, I open the door, and my husband greets me with a towel draped on his arm and a fake paper mustache on his face. He was also yelling, "I make you-a spicy-a meatball-a! We then had an Italian dinner and it was lovely. One more reason why I love that guy. Wednesday, September 24, 2008. I will be...

A Cord of Three Strands: January 2009
http://alexandbethwise.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 28, 2009. As I sit here typing this, smoke from our neighbors' highly possible illegal activities is wafting into the livingroom via a hole in our closet, despite the towel I have stuffed under the door. Looks like I'll have to air out my winter coat before work tomorrow. What a perfect time for an update! Alex and I have begun the process of looking for a small group. Our "gypsy church" (thanks, Brooke! And we're going to try one on February 8th. Yay! New plan for the future! The neig...

A Cord of Three Strands: July 2009
http://alexandbethwise.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 15, 2009. Alex and I sometimes rap about our day. However, beacause I feel that the world is not ready for that awesomeness, I would like to share our more meditative way of communicating.haikus (syllables- 5,7,5). Enjoy. I had to go to work. Work has lots of poopoo heads. Desks are for sleeping. Today I sat down. The computer was on too. My eyes- they were dry. At the water park. Was some unexpected poop. In a bathing suit. Look of fear, run to bathroom. Bucket held my pain.
