http://phillieschronicles.blogspot.com/2007/09/were-in-wait-is-over-phillies-make.html
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly of the Philadelphia Phillies. Sunday, September 30, 2007. The Wait is Over, the Phillies Make the Playoffs. After 14 grueling seasons, the 2007 Phillies have done what no other Phillies team since 1993 has done. they've made the playoffs. They sealed the deal to day with a 7-1 win over the Washington Nationals. And as a proud member of that 10th man, I want to say thank you to all of the Phillies' players who have made this roller coaster season an exciting ride. But a guts...

The Phillies Chronicles: December 2006
http://phillieschronicles.blogspot.com/2006_12_01_archive.html
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly of the Philadelphia Phillies. Monday, December 25, 2006. Phillies Trade Conine, Acquire Barajas. To shuffle. That is the english translation of Barajas. To shuffle, or to mix it up. This is exactly what Gillick has done with the signing of Rod Barajas. Our newly shuffled Phillies lineup is now a little more confusing. First, we got rid of Conine. All the reports throughout the winter had Conine penciled in as our right fielder, right? Let's see how it works out. The recent ...

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly of the Philadelphia Phillies. Tuesday, January 30, 2007. Are Philadelphia Phillies fans too hard on their team? I couldn't believe this question was being asked at a community site of opinions, articles, etc. ( http:/ Helium.com. Some people said yes. so I had to respond. Here is what I wrote:. The Philadelphia fan is informed. The Philadelphia fan knows the game. The. Philadelphia fan is passionate about his/her team. Period. If you are truly a. Philadelphia type of players.

The Phillies Chronicles: First Blood Leads to First Place
http://phillieschronicles.blogspot.com/2007/09/first-blood-leads-to-first-place.html
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly of the Philadelphia Phillies. Thursday, September 27, 2007. First Blood Leads to First Place. Jimmy Rollins and Shane Victorino helped the Phils draw First Blood to set the tone for the rest of tonight's contest. Rollins continued his MVP caliber play leading off the game with a single. Dejavu, considering he led off last night's game with a triple and joined the 30/30 club the night before by leading off that game with homerun. That kind of spark, speaks volumes. Baseball ...

The Phillies Chronicles: August 2007
http://phillieschronicles.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly of the Philadelphia Phillies. Thursday, August 30, 2007. Phils Sweep the Mets. When something is described on the radio as being the most exciting game in Citizen's Bank Park history, then it must have been good. Once again Pat Burrell has come up big. I think he just has the confidence to do whatever he wants. This is the Pat Burrell that warranted the $13 million/year. And what can you say about Chase Utley except, MVP. Time to Fry the Fish! Pawnking's Phillies Sportsbeat: April 2006
http://pksports.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html
A look at the world of Philadelphia Phillies Sports, with a little bit of other sports stuff on occasion. Wednesday, April 26, 2006. Swallow your pride and admit Floyd isn't ready for the Bigs. As a comparison, Floyd has an ERA of 8.50. Franklin an ERA of 3.18. Even if Franklin pitches the rest of the season as poorly as last year (ERA of 5.10) rather than his career ERA (4.32), that's such an obvious difference in what Floyd's giving us right now as to really close the argument. Pawnking's Phillies Sportsbeat: September 2005
http://pksports.blogspot.com/2005_09_01_archive.html
A look at the world of Philadelphia Phillies Sports, with a little bit of other sports stuff on occasion. Monday, September 12, 2005. Thought for the day:. Tonight, Philadelphia plays Atlanta. And Atlanta plays Philadelphia. If you could choose, which would you rather have, a series sweep of the Braves, or winning the one game tonight? While we're at it, which would you rather have, a Superbowl win or a World Series win? Posted by Pawnking @ 7:36 AM. Thursday, September 08, 2005. How bout them Eagles?
