My background is in Psychology (BSc) and my training as a Cognitive Psychotherapist was completed in 2006, at the University of Brighton (MSc in Cognitive Psychotherapy). My PhD focused on The role of meta-cognition in social anxiety and was awarded to me by the University of Manchester in 2011. I offer cognitive psychotherapy (face-to-face and telephone) sessions to people who are experiencing problems with anxiety and/or depression. Each session lasts approximately 50 minutes, but longer sessions are possible. The frequency is agreed with the service user. The initial sessions are part of the assessment that enables the therapist and service users to talk about procedural issues, cognitive psychotherapy, and the main problems of the service user.
