Monday, March 2, 2009. Letting go of a losing hand. Is so hard to do sometimes. Not sure if it is due to ego, being tired or tilt. No matter what it's due to I have to refrain from repeating the sames mistakes. I see myself making this error when I either raise with a medocre hand out of position or I miss the flop with a decent starting hand after raising pre-flop. In the month of May I played a few tournaments but was either not focused or on the wrong side of varience and have decided that I will be focusing on cash games for the time being. I will still play the odd tournament here and there but will only do so for fun and entertainment. So moving forward I must must must lay these hands down as they are costing me way too much money and in order for me to keep moving up with my BR I cannot afford these mistakes. It has been a little over a month since my last post and not much has changed at all except for the fact that over the past week I have been playing well and running good. I have been able to make proper laydowns at the table and when I have called with the worst hand it is for small amounts that haven't truly affected the outcome of my sessions. Tuesday, October 14, 2008. My play throughout the week was very good except for yesterday when I paid off two players at different times when I was clearly beat. Chalk it up to being full or turkey and tired but I still made the wrong plays. Both hands I flopped a good hand but was clearly beat, so live and learn I guess.
