I guess I'm just unlucky. I'm beginning to think I might have been better off with a Sony Reader. Somehow I got a defective Kindle. I had read about people having problems with it freezing, but didn't think I would need to worry about that. Well, I do. I'll update and let you all know if the new one has the same problems.

Life in the middle. The life of a female professional in a mid-sized city in the mid-west. Friday, February 19, 2010. Today I got some good news. I feel like I should be jumping up and down excited. I got a provisional job offer. Back in St. Louis. Doing a job that's a complete change of pace. I'll be doing something that might change people's lives - not just their pocket books. My Life Ever Ordinary. Sunday, September 25, 2011. I love seeing my daughter dirty. I love when she has dirty, bare feet and flushed cheeks, slightly damp sweaty hair, smelling like the outside. The joys of childhood run deep and it is a beautiful thing to watch her unselfconsciously exist in this magical moment of complete freedom. Clean is definitely over-rated. Cute piece. Last night, I went to a coworker's home to see some photos from her recent trip to Asia (Hong Kong, China, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam, in case you were interested). It is my secret fulfillment to center myself around my home, even for just one day a week. I love to do the wash, make the bed with clean white sheets, put out fresh towels for the week.
