To direct and had Alex Tse rework Hayters script. They put together a budget of $120 million and started filming in 2007. Whether you have read the source material or not this is a film worth paying to see. Snyder is definitely one of the most talented directors working today and he really has done a great job here. Who watches the Watchmen? I suspect everyone will. Reviewed by Simon Hill.

One of the biggest action franchises ever created is back with Terminator Salvation. Set in 2018 with humanity on the brink of annihilation after the nuclear holocaust of Judgement Day this is an action packed battle between Skynet and the human resistance led by John Connor. It looks great and there are nods to the previous entries in the series but this is like one big long fight and chase scene which lacks any substance. Reviewed by Simon Hill.

Ace in the Hole is an excellent film about an unscrupulous city newspaperman who is down on his luck and decides to exploit a man trapped down a mine in order to kick start his failing career. Directed by Billy Wilder and starring Kirk Douglas this is an intelligent and absorbing movie. Ace in the Hole is a forgotten classic and as a cynical tale of human greed it´s tough to beat. If you´ve never seen it you should definitely seek it out.
