Journal of Advanced Research in Ocean Engineering. 발표논문 신청 및 제출. 1986년 6월 7일 동아대학교 공과대학 내 사무실을 두고 사단법인 한국해양공학회가 설립되었다. 주 사업으로는 학술지발간과 학술대회가 있으며, 한국해양공학회지는 1987년부터 매년 6월말과, 1996년부터는 연4회, 2002년부터는 연6회 발간하고 있다. 국제 영문지(IJOSE)는 2011년부터 계간으로 발행하고 있다. 그리고 춘추계학술대회가 개최되고 있으며, 산하 4개의 연구회에서 춘추계 워크샵이나 학술대회를 개최한다. 현재 한국해양공학회는 회장 1인, 부회장 6인을 포함하는 이사 총 40인과 감사, 역대회장으로 이루어진 고문, 사무직원 2인으로 운영, 관리되고 있으며, 사무실은 부산시 동구 초량동 프레지던트 오피스텔에 자리하고 있다.
