Friday, May 07, 2004. What I can't understand is how according to Donald Rumsfeld, we can have at least 8,000 people detained in Iraq. Iraq is the size of California. Can it be that we've taken our completely wacko (and Ashcroft-endorsed) industrial prison system from California to Iraq? Are there really so many criminals just roaming the streets of Iraq?
