http://beanieschapini.blogspot.com/2013/03/three-posts-in-one.html
The Sweet and Sour of the Stay-At-Home Life. Wednesday, March 13, 2013. Post I: Habemus Papam! I would not normally have used this phrase as a post title, but it seemed to go well with my next one, which I started a few days ago, before we had a new pope. Which, we now have! It was a day of great excitement in the Catholic world and in our house today! Pope Francis seems to have a sweetness about him that I think the whole world needs. He calls for brotherhood, something the world needs. On faceb...Part ...

Sticky Kisses: January 2013
http://beanieschapini.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
The Sweet and Sour of the Stay-At-Home Life. Thursday, January 31, 2013. When we were embarking on the Big Event of Having Three Children (can you tell I read a lot of A.A. Milne? People warned us, "Watch out! It really was that great. Partly because it was summer (and even an extraordinary summer where it almost never rained! Three is not crazy! Three is (omg why did I even think this) EASY! Riiiiiight. "Easy," I said. In other news, Anja got a camera for her birthday in November and we just got the cor...

Sticky Kisses: February 2013
http://beanieschapini.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
The Sweet and Sour of the Stay-At-Home Life. Sunday, February 10, 2013. On Friday morning the girls and I drove up the hill to St. Mary's School and officially registered Anja for half day morning kindergarten. I'm not feeling especially sentimental (yet) about the fact that my oldest baby is going to be heading off to school in the fall, but at the same time I AM feeling sentimental about the fact that she is no longer, in any way, shape or form, a baby. And then one day everything magically changed.

Sticky Kisses: When I Grow Up
http://beanieschapini.blogspot.com/2013/05/when-i-grow-up.html
The Sweet and Sour of the Stay-At-Home Life. Tuesday, May 28, 2013. When I Grow Up. I was twelve when I got my first guitar (a Lotus, from a pawn shop) and shortly after I learned how to play "Love Me Do" and "Feelin Groovy," I decided what I wanted to be when I grew up: I wanted to be "a hippie.". Where the heck am I going with this blabbering post? Listening to Joan Baez makes me want to homeschool forever. Here is the point of this post: BE TRUE TO YOURSELF. If you can, that is. For example, b...It's ...

So you wanted to know? As He Faced The Sun. Jan 12th, 2008 01:23 am So you wanted to know? If you ever wanted to know what was running through my head while you thought I was thinking of the ever-important life that you lead, please download the following song and know what was truly running through my head. I declare it will make you think that you were not very important at all, but just something for my eyes to focus on whilst I thought of something that was much more stimulating.

A brick ran down my leg. - As He Faced The Sun. Oct 4th, 2007 01:29 am A brick ran down my leg. I will say the cop was nice (I think he was in training). His superior was alright too. I could have been ticketed for going 80 mph on I-65, but he let me off with a warning. Oh, and the cubs lost. Crappy night. October 5th, 2007 12:20 pm (UTC). You got off easy. Ever had to take a field psychology test! I failed BIG TIME. I got to wear those cool zip-tie hand-cuffs though.

Sticky Kisses: July 2013
http://beanieschapini.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
The Sweet and Sour of the Stay-At-Home Life. Tuesday, July 2, 2013. No, I hate Judgers). Today something really funny happened. It was funny to me, and someday I hope Greta will see the humor in it as well. This is how it went:. Greta: "Mama, will you put this bow in my side ponytail? Which way do you want it to go? Greta: "I want it like this." (shows me, sort of, which direction it should face.). Me: "Okay." (Puts in bow) "Now, you go look in the bathroom mirror and see if I did it right.". I felt a li...

This year we did something out of the ordinary, and instead of me making Halloween costumes ON Halloween, we PURCHASED Halloween costumes LAST WEEK. Whoa! I am not just timely, I'm ahead of schedule! This is quite an extraordinary event. Here's a big Elka face for you:. My birthday was great! I am a lucky mama. It fits her pretty well and it looks better with all four clasps sewn on, a...

I don't remember what we did on Saturday, but I know the girls had not quite recovered, behaviorally speaking. (It takes us awhile around here&#...
