August 17, 2011. What do you think the perceptions of distance learning will be in the future (in 5 10 years; 10 20 years)? I think that the perceptions of distance learning will become more mainstream in the next 5-10 years and possibility even more so in the next 10 to 20 years. However, I think the brick and mortar schools with their built in support systems through alumni activities and major sports programs will continue to be the broad base for undergraduate degrees through out the United States.
