Fourteen months, four countries, and three kids - Tales from the Field. My husband, three kids and I spent May 28, 2009 to August 13, 2010 traveling to Jamaica, Brazil, Guatemala, and the Dominican Republic. During this time, I interviewed people who had been deported from the US for a book I am writing. On this blog, I reported on my travels, trials, tribulations, travails, and random thoughts. Dispatches from France: The light at the end of the tunnel
http://dispatchesfromfrance.blogspot.com/2013/03/the-light-at-end-of-tunnel.html
The story of an American girl who followed a French boy home. Friday, March 15, 2013. The light at the end of the tunnel. I haven't been here for a really long time. I'm not even going to look to see how long; there's no point. And we only have a couple of hours together when I get home, including making dinner and getting him to bed. In four/five more months, we'll get our lives back. Summer can't come fast enough. BIG HUG* * Itll get better from here, girlie! Just hang in there! Ack, so tough on you!
