http://sparetimecardmaking.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
And other crafts that pique my interest. Tuesday, July 19, 2011. Rolling with the Punches. Can you believe that? The card base was still so hot that the powder I poured on melted right to the paper. Grrrr! So I decided to just go with it. I did VersaMark direct to paper technique and sprinkled white embossing powder haphazardly to make the rogue powder look intentional. Not a bad turn out, just not what I had envisioned. Oh well. My saga with embossing powders continues. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View ...

Spare time Cardmaking: Nail Polish Tag
http://sparetimecardmaking.blogspot.com/2013/06/nail-polish-tag.html
And other crafts that pique my interest. Tuesday, June 4, 2013. Months ago, I was reading Kristina Werner's blog. And she had used nail polish to create a card. Now that's a novel I idea, I said to myself. Being the pack rat that I am, I have plenty of nail polish on hand - even some crazy colors that I used to wear as a kid that I would probably never wear again. What a perfect use for something that I would otherwise throw out! Here is the finished product using said thickened nail polish:. Lastly, the...

And other crafts that pique my interest. Wednesday, March 7, 2012. I love making scrap cards. It's so satisfying to use up the last little bit of paper you've been saving forever because it was too (psychologically) hard to throw away. I used the same "technique" as in a previous post ( click here. That is gluing strips of paper to a thin piece of backing paper before adhering to my card. Cardstock base: GP 110lb. white cardstock. Paper: Various cardstock, patterned paper, and vellum. Until next time,.

And other crafts that pique my interest. Sunday, September 25, 2011. My First Attempt at Decorating Gift Bags. I have a little something different for today. Awhile back, I bought some plain white gift bags from Hobby Lobby because they were on sale. Each bag ended up being about $0.25, so this is a great alternative to the fancy bags that cost at least $1.00 at department stores. Here are the bags and tags I have decorated so far. The Paper Studio - Medium craft bags in white. Cardstock: The Paper Studio.
