Chatter with the Champions. Monday, May 10, 2010. Breaking the News: We're Pregnant. On Wednesday, March 31, 2010 Sam and I found out that I was pregnant! It was very exciting. Sam wanted to call everyone he knew to spread the word about our news! We were going to Alabama the very next day for Easter weekend, so we got to tell his parents in person on Thursday night and mine in person on Saturday afternoon. Chatter with the Champions. Monday, June 21, 2010. I am a couple of weeks into the 2nd trimester (and thank goodness), it is a ton better than the first trimester! My need for a "nap" after work until dinnertime and then back to sleep immediately after dinner is gone! Also, I'm now able to cook meals again without all of the smells, etc. getting to me. Thankfully Sam is an awesome cook and got us through the first trimester! I'm thinking this will have to change with the arrival of the baby.

Chatter with the Champions. Thursday, September 16, 2010. 25 Months of Updates. Long time, no post! Because our new renter for Sam's condo on 2nd Avenue moved in yesterday. Sam did a ton of work painting, adding new baseboards, laying new tile in the bathroom and more. The place looks great and we have an awesome renter! I had my gestational diabetes screening yesterday and an appointment with my doctor. Fingers crossed that I passed that first round of screening! That Sam loves, this fancy high chair.

He is only five inches long (the size of a Turnip, according to websites that tell you these things), so I'm impressed that with something that small the gender can be seen!
