Faith requires risk and action…. April 14, 2008. My first duty station will be with the 1st Divsion Marines at MCAGCC. Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center) in Twentynine Palms, CA. I will be a battalion chaplain with 1st Battalion, 7th Marines (also known as “ First Team. 8220;) which consists of approximately 1,000 Marines. I will be providing ministry and support to these men and women for next 2 1/2 years which will include at least 2 deployments of 7 months to conflict areas (Iraq, Afghanistan).
