There is one kitchen lady, Mademoiselle Jumelle, who lives in the barracks during the week and after dinner on Friday she returns home to her family. She is not married and has no children so to her the arrangement works. The other kitchen staff all pile into a truck at the end of the day and return home to their children and loved ones. I have to admit, even after all these years and all the foolish things I have seen on it, I still like to watch Greys Anatomy. I guess it is a guilty pleasure. However, I have one huge beef with this show and that is basically they make it seem like nurses have no role in the hospital… except that redhead who gave George syphilis (I still miss George!
