The Olympics in Beijing were opened at 8pm on 8/8/2008. On Sunday 19th April at Ironman China, my race number was 8. And now I have 8 sunburnt into my skin! Sunday, November 30, 2008. Photos of my new home. My messy office. I look forward to organizing it post Busso. The "double bike garage", that the cars probably been in only once- when it hailed! The first time we have had a lawn to mow! All we need is 2 kids and a dog. Lovely, lovely SPACE! Our TP kits can stay out all the time, and we don't trip over them. The awesome Noosa Aquatic Centre, as you can see it gets pretty crowded on beautiful sunny days. It stretches for miles. Thursday, November 20, 2008.

Monday, May 4, 2009. I know it's crazy. I'm as shocked as anyone. I went into this race with no expectations, no pressure, I was just going to see how I felt. Well, I felt kind of good, so decided to go with it! I was 4 mins 15 off Lisa Marangon coming onto the run and took the lead with just 3 kms to go. Here's some pics, race report coming soon. I finished up Ironman with a bag of Cheetos. This is it: Ironman Kentucky 2011. This gem is me on the bike, on the way to a 1:09:16 TT in Chicago. Fifth in my age group on a 90s lugged steel Botecchia with speed bars. Yes, those are carbon wheels on that bike. Me (just don’t be a smart ass and go asking about the run). To try and combat this feeling of being slightly lost, not only in my university work but how i'm feeling in myself is to try and do little things that make me feel happy and what I usually do while not at university. This normally includes reading, making things and cooking!
