http://randomthoughtsofkatie.blogspot.com/2009/06/hansel-and-gretel.html
A procrastination station for when I have lots of other things to be getting on with. Monday, 8 June 2009. One of my favourite topics in Literacy has to be 'Traditional Fairytales'. Children just don't seem to know as many stories as they used to, and it's always surprising how many haven't even heard of classics such as. So every morning this week we've read a traditional story together, and it's been lovely. This morning, my story of choice was Hansel and Gretel. But it was only when reading. Theres a ...

A procrastination station for when I have lots of other things to be getting on with. Tuesday, 19 May 2009. A week (or three) in pictures. Here is a photo from my Bank Holiday weekend. Suz, Mike and I went on a little picnic to Danbury Lakes, only to discover it was pouring with rain when we got there. Not to be put off, we sat in the car and ate our sandwiches whilst admiring a family determined to share their lunch on the grass under a huge umbrella. So very British. We tried to make their arms move, b...

Katie's Random Thoughts: November 2008
http://randomthoughtsofkatie.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
A procrastination station for when I have lots of other things to be getting on with. Sunday, 30 November 2008. We've been up since 6am as my cocker spaniel, Boysie, was yelping and seemed really confused. He was slipping all over the place and bumping into everything. So my whole family took him to the emergency vet- it turned out he had some kind of tumor and needed to be put down. It was very emotional. I've had Boysie since he was a puppy (14 years ago- he was very old! Sunday, 16 November 2008.

A procrastination station for when I have lots of other things to be getting on with. Sunday, 29 March 2009. To fill you in. Here are the last two months summed up in statistics:. The number of incidents involving police that I have driven past on my way home from work- a car crash, a motorbike accident, a fire and a stabbing! I should point out that all of these incidents occurred in Thorpe Bay or Southend, not in Leigh. Enough said.). The amount of pounds I would have won at the casino (at our staff do...

My invisible friend is called Toby. He's a donkey.". Why do they call the small chocolate bars 'fun size'? Tuesday, 14 April 2009. I realised that I neede...

http://randomthoughtsofkatie.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
A procrastination station for when I have lots of other things to be getting on with. Sunday, 20 July 2008. A rollercoaster of a weekend. This weekend has been crazy busy. But in a good way. It started off on Friday, when I FINALLY got to see Mamma Mia! This made me very happy:. I was really excited by this point (probably to the point of irritating), as not only were we about to see the film I been going on about for months, but we were going to the Odeon in Leicester Square to see it! And here's a litt...
