English Heritage Choose the Spike. English Heritage chose the Spike as the heritage site to launch their annual report for the South East called Heritage Counts. The Spike was rescued by the Charlotteville Jubilee Trust in 2005 after three years of fundraising which meant work could start on restoring this building for public use.
