Silver Angel's Musings: June 2010
http://silverangelsmusings.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
The blog of Silver Angel. Thursday, June 17, 2010. What makes an ending epic? Endings are times we always have mixed feelings about it seems, depending on what is ending. In books, it depends on the story. how real did the characters seem? It also depends on what the characters did. did they have real lives that we can relate to? It depends on the story. For telling how i feel about some endings, i am going to use a book series as an example. (some of you know of it, some of you may not). But by then, th...

Pathfinder's Findings: June 2013
http://pathfindersfindings.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
For the longest time, that's all I thought Christianity was. Dressing up, playing church, saying empty, mindless prayers before bed and every meal. Then, around seventh or eighth grade, I realized that there was, is, so much more. Dressing up on Sundays means nothing. Those empty prayers? Did I mean them? No There is more. There is so much more! For the longest time, I thought I was fine on my own. I didn't need anyone's help; I've got this, thanks though, maybe another time? I need other people. That's ...

Pathfinder's Findings: Wind
http://pathfindersfindings.blogspot.com/2013/04/wind.html
The cold, wet air clung to my skin. Freezing needles of water stung my face. Rain or snow, I could not tell. Wind whistled, knocking bare branches together like a fifth-grade percussion section. As I strode down the driveway, the wind whipping at my hair, filling my cloak like the sails of a man-of-war. I stopped walking and closed my eyes. First, I was standing on the balcony of a palace overlooking rolling plains. Approaching like a prowling wolf. The wind slammed into me, yelling into my ears,. A trul...

Pathfinder's Findings: March 2013
http://pathfindersfindings.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Rain fell quietly onto the street. Falling, falling, swirling, splat. Sphere, teardrop, circle, splat. Twisting, turning, twirling, splat. Puddles ,splashes, gutters, spat. Footsteps, muffled, secrets, hid. Running, shouting, yelling, pursuit. Slamming, tipping, crashing, clash. Racing, pursuing, escaping, caught. A reason why I despise cats. One of my best friends has seven. All indoor. Whenever I go over to her house, I see movement in the corner of my eye, but as soon as I turn, its gone. Castles, Qui...

Pathfinder's Findings: Another Dream Pirates of the Caribbean-style
http://pathfindersfindings.blogspot.com/2013/04/another-dream-pirates-of-caribbean-style.html
Another Dream Pirates of the Caribbean-style. In this dream, I was a small red-headed girl of about twelve, living with her father, a merchant, on an island in the Caribbean. One day, a certain band of evil pirates just happened to decide to attack a certain trading island. That island just happened to be the one that my father and I lived on. 8221; he shouted. “Hide in the woods! 8221; I didn’t want to leave him, but he insisted and pushed me in the direction of the woods. “Go! I changed into my brother...

Pathfinder's Findings: September 2012

Smurf this is for you. Because he said my blog needed more muffins. I discovered a blog fest hosted at: alexjcavanaugh.blogspot.com. And though Hm. This sounds pretty cool. Ive never done one of these before. So here I am. The topic is Four Favorites. This is difficult. I really like science fiction and fantasy. But I think Ill have to choose Adventure, because Sci-fi and Fantasy tend to be subgenres of that genre. Another hard one. Movie soundtracks. Especially Celtic soundtracks. An epic steampunk novel.
