Thursday, June 6, 2013. Well, it looks like we are officially on BabyWatch! Matt and I made an exciting, and yet uneventful, trip up to the hospital yesterday after I started having regular contractions. Turns out - just contractions. Baby isn't ready just yet - or at least I'm not! Hopefully we'll see some progress at today's doctor's appointment since I've been having the contractions for almost 24 hours now! Thursday, February 20, 2014. My Little Man: Months 7 and 8. Where has the time gone? I know I missed Matty's 7-month update, but who has time to write a blog when they're chasing after a mobile baby? Just to compare between last month and this month, here are Matty's month pictures. He has this mischievous grin on his face a lot now. My little rascal. Friday, August 22, 2014. Yep, that's right. We no longer have a baby in the house. Matty is a full blown toddler, and he is running all over the place to prove it! I guess that happens when you're holding a sick child and they insist on sneezing and coughing directly in your face. I've been working at Paulding County Schools for a little over a month, and I LOVE it! In all honesty, I've become fairly removed from what's going on. My focus is on my little family. Sunday, December 29, 2013. A Month of Firsts. Where did my baby go? Matty has turned into a little boy, seemingly overnight! This past month has brought a lot of firsts for our little guy. It was his first Christmas, and that brought us a number of new experiences! With parents who love Christmas as much as Matt and I do, Matty really doesn't have a chance! The grandparents and Aunt Carrie and Uncle Brad were way too generous! Matty is incredibly blessed. Matty had his first meeting with Santa Claus.

Tuesday, February 26, 2013. We have had a REALLY busy couple of weeks! We found a pediatrician that we like, although we have one more appointment to check out a different practice today. We found and reserved a spot at a nearby daycare.they teach sign language so the baby can communicate with us before he is able to talk. Saturday, March 22, 2014. Three-Quarters of a Year. Where did the last 9 months go? We had several firsts last month. Not all developmental - although I have a feeling I'll be writing about a HUGE first in the next few weeks. If you know anything about my mom, she's a huge Cars. In that spirit, Matty got his first "Lightning McQueen" car last month. Right now he pushes it around the living room, but I know he'll have a blast on it this summer!
