I work with CBC News Nova Scotia as a television reporter and I edit the video for all my stories. I was awarded the RTDNA electronic journalists association prize for "Creative Use of Video" in 2011. Diabetic woman's eyesight saved. A woman who is losing her eyesight due to diabetes receives some good news. The province has agreed to cover the price of administering a costly drug. Changes to English as a Second Language program. Please note I do my own audio editing. Each Remembrance Day the veterans of Canada's Armed Forces gather at public squares and cenotaphs to honour their fallen comrades. But not all of them will go home when the ceremonies are over. Many of them don't have a home to go to. A Halifax-based group of veterans is walking the streets trying to help their brothers-in-arms.
