Jack Raymond Fountain: February 2009
http://jackfountain.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 25, 2009. Mardi Gras -Day 2. On Sunday, we went uptown to a few parades before we had to drive home. My childhood friend, Annie (Jananne's daughter), lives in an apartment on the street where two of the parades line up. She was kind enough to let us hang out at her apartment. We walked down her street to the parade route for the first parade, Okeanos. Year old yelling, "Throw me something, mister! It was a completely different experience from Endymion, but it was just as much fun!

Jack & Joe: March 2010
http://fountainboys.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 30, 2010. Jack picked up my camera and went on a photo shoot around the house and outside. For those who don't know my family, suffice it to say that photography is in the genes. (My dad, uncle, cousin, and brother are all either professional or serious hobbyist photographers.) The following are some of the pictures he took. Then, after I got the groceries put away, we went for a walk, and he wanted to stop and smell the flowers in the neighbor's yard. Then, we played hopscotch. He ADORES ...

Tuesday, August 25, 2009. Two weeks old already? I can hardly believe that Joe is already two weeks old! I know, I know, "He'll be going to college before you know it. Time passes so quickly, blah, blah, blah." But, seriously, these past two might have been the fastest of my entire life, and I know the pace is only going to pick up! First meeting with Uncle Doc. Two weeks old today! Update on day-to-day life (sleeping, eating, crying):. Can you believe that? Today was Joe's two week check-up, and we also...

Jack & Joe: Christmas (Part 2)
http://fountainboys.blogspot.com/2010/03/christmas-part-2.html
Thursday, March 25, 2010. Christmas Eve we opened and wore our matching pjs. Christmas morning Jack woke to find a blue, big boy bike, a helmet and pads and a Saints tackle dummy.just what he asked Santa for. Santa brought Joe a Busy Ball Popper. After opening gifts at Grandmommy's house, we went over to Gramps's for a big Christmas lunch with all of the Bowies. Jack decided to wear his Santa suit that Grandmommy gave him. After lunch, Jack put on his gear and went for a ride. View my complete profile.

Monday, October 26, 2009. Joe's first trip to Lafayette. When we left Natchez, the boys and I went to Lafayette with Grandmommy for a few days. Brent had to work, so he wasn't able to join us. We had a good visit with my family. On Sunday before we left, Susu had a Sip and See for us. Lots of ladies came to meet Joseph. It was a fun weekend! Friday, October 9, 2009. Notice the storm in the background.we barely beat the rain. There was a great big "corn box" (like a sandbox with corn instead of sand.).

Friday, July 31, 2009. A new blog for a new addition to the family. For those who have been following Jack's blog for the last year or so, we have made a blog-move to accommodate the upcoming addition to our family. We are expecting a baby boy in August, and I thought it would be a little unfair to the new fellow if the blog address was http:/ www.jackfountain.blogspot.com/. Brent really likes this one best.) So, this is it; here we are ready to blog. More to come. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Jack Raymond Fountain: March 2009
http://jackfountain.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 31, 2009. Spring Break in The Big Apple. We spent our spring break, March 14-19, in New York City. Jack hadn't been on an airplane since he was six months old, so as far as he was concerned, this was his first plane ride. He did really well on the plane. We crammed a lot into those 6 days! For those of us from suburbia, the little things, like a playground surrounded by high-rises, are impressive.). Sunday, March 15: Statue of Liberty and St. Patrick's Day meal with family. The Central Par...

Friday, June 26, 2009. Summer is flying by (and this is a very long post! We've been having a great time this summer! In June we went to the BB King Homecoming Festival in Indianola, went to the movies (these were Jack's first "real" movies), went to Geyser Falls waterpark three times, played with our playgroup several times, and went to Lafayette and Natchez. Unfortunately, I only have a handful of pictures from all of these events. (I hear the groans from Lafayette and Natchez.sorry! Sorry this one is ...
