Perhaps what I want, need, now is…reassurance. A sense of…security? Maybe I just need something to alleviate how helpless I sometimes feel. I’m trying to phrase it… It’s difficult. Diction is difficult. It sounds melodramatic, but I need to know this isn’t…futile? I need to know that I’m not waiting for a decision that won’t be made. To be rather honest, everything feels rather hollow and pointless. I don’t feel like I’m living for something, and having turned 25 recently isn’t helping with that sentiment at all. Case in point, the essay assignment that I practically vomited over the course of 24 hours, very possibly the least coherent paper that I’ve ever written. A string of ideas, somewhat structured, that might have amounted to something had I cared. Update: vomited essay got an ‘A’. What is going on.). September 24, 2013.

It’s often hardest to take your own advice. If anyone were to come to me with a similar situation, I know what I’d likely advise. Walk away. Or don’t invest so much. Don’t set yourself up for hurt and have no one but yourself to blame if it happens. But when it’s happening to you, when you lose all objectivity…. Yes, even CJ loses objectivity at times. I don’t want to walk away. I want you. I want…us. Is there an ‘us’? I don’t think I’ve ever been this emotionally stretched in my life. March 5, 2013.
