Yarn Hugger: In the groove
http://chelleknits.blogspot.com/2009/10/i-have-too-much-yarn.html
One girl's venture to conquer fibers, needles, straight and double pointed, cables, and lace, all while trying to keep her sanity. Friday, October 2, 2009. I have too much yarn. No, that's not true. But lately I've been on this buying-yarn spree that can't be too good for my wallet, but truth be told, I don't really care. The yarn - it calls to me. I go into yarn stores and go slightly nutty being in the presence of all this yarn I can't have. And today I went and bought more. But it was so glorious!
Yarn Hugger: Hello again
http://chelleknits.blogspot.com/2009/09/hello-again.html
One girl's venture to conquer fibers, needles, straight and double pointed, cables, and lace, all while trying to keep her sanity. Tuesday, September 29, 2009. Knitting has been sparse lately, but after a visit from Amy, the knitting! Love was renewed. (Thanks a lot, Amy. And I say that only half sarcastically.). So, there has been a lot of knitting. But as always, no time to really blog about it. So I leave you with the first FO in a very, very long time. Madelinetosh, tosh worsted in Vermillion.
Yarn Hugger: It's almost Christmas! Which means it's scarf time.

One girl's venture to conquer fibers, needles, straight and double pointed, cables, and lace, all while trying to keep her sanity. Monday, December 14, 2009. Which means it's scarf time. Malabrigo Worsted (one and a half skeins). US 10 / 6.00 mm. Perfect. And just in time for these grey, grey wintry days. Sometimes, when I need a pick me up, these brightly colored scarves do just the trick. This and my Noro Striped Scarf do a lot just to make me feel a little more cheery. Cascade 128 Superwash, 2 skeins.
Yarn Hugger: Two Ways to Keep Your Sanity
http://chelleknits.blogspot.com/2009/03/two-ways-to-keep-your-sanity.html
One girl's venture to conquer fibers, needles, straight and double pointed, cables, and lace, all while trying to keep her sanity. Friday, March 6, 2009. Two Ways to Keep Your Sanity. Yes, I'm struggling through that part of the semester where everything just seems like it's dragging. So two projects - just for me! The first is the Spring Tulips Stole from Night Owl Knits. And the second project is the super quick garter stitch cowl. Two midterms, one paper down. One paper, two midterms to go.
Yarn Hugger: It's here

One girl's venture to conquer fibers, needles, straight and double pointed, cables, and lace, all while trying to keep her sanity. Friday, February 29, 2008. After much deliberating and whatnot, they're here. What's here? The Sneaker Booties pattern, of course. Find them on Ravelry here. Much thanks to Donna for test knitting this for me. Please send me pictures of your finished booties, if you make any. I'd love to see them! And hit up my email. If you have any questions! March 5, 2008 at 7:48:00 PM EST.

A Cardigan for Arwen KAL: So far so good, pretty much
http://acardiganforarwen.blogspot.com/2007/08/so-far-so-good-pretty-much.html
A Cardigan for Arwen KAL. The Knit-Along for A Cardigan for Arwen. By Kate Gilbert from Interweave Knits, Winter 2006. Come join the Fellowship! Wednesday, August 08, 2007. So far so good, pretty much. Well, the weather broke, and it's damp and cold enough that I can face the idea of a lapful of merino, so I've made a bit more progress on Arwen. The second sleeve is done, grafted and seamed. Posted by alala @ 8/08/2007. Links to this post:. Kat with a K. Ok, its back to the drawing board {sob!

A Cardigan for Arwen KAL. The Knit-Along for A Cardigan for Arwen. By Kate Gilbert from Interweave Knits, Winter 2006. Come join the Fellowship! Monday, October 22, 2007. After a break to marry off the daughter I'm making this for and then to recover from all the flower preparation, cake decorating and general chaos, I'm back to working on this. I'm knitting in the round, so at this point one front and one sleeve are complete and I'm now working on the other sleeve. Posted by Bev @ 10/22/2007.
Knits from the City: October 2007

Knits from the City. Sunday, October 7, 2007. Okay, so I'm feeling the lace itch, and I've decided that the best way to solve this is to knit up Icarus with that most beautiful Stone Blue Malabrigo Lace. However, I haven't even blocked my Swallowtail! Oh dear . I just feel like there's no time. I think I need to weave in all of my ends and just get it all prepared. Maybe I'll lay it out tonight. I'm not sure yet. Saturday, October 6, 2007. Swinging in the trees. Close up on the picot edge. It's almost em...
Knits from the City: swinging in the trees

Knits from the City. Saturday, October 6, 2007. Swinging in the trees. I totally didn't mention that these are my Socktoberfest socks! I've found the solution to my photo problems! I take my knitting to school anyway, so why not photograph it on campus? It's so brilliant, its a wonder I never thought of it before. I've been going kind of crazy on the monkeys, so I keep knitting them, and the photos I am posting are . how you say, always behind. Close up on the picot edge. Look ma, another sock!

A Cardigan for Arwen KAL: It Is Done, hurray!
http://acardiganforarwen.blogspot.com/2007/08/it-is-done-hurray.html
A Cardigan for Arwen KAL. The Knit-Along for A Cardigan for Arwen. By Kate Gilbert from Interweave Knits, Winter 2006. Come join the Fellowship! Monday, August 13, 2007. It Is Done, hurray! OK, so, I finally decided last week that I needed to get over my block about blocking the Arwen sweater and just "git 'er done". So I got her blocked and sewn up and wore the sweater to a new group of spinner/knitter/weavers/ and other fiber crafters last Friday. More pics of the finished Arwen on my blog. Kat with a K.

Knits from the City. Wednesday, May 23, 2007. Tiny pieces - hiatus. I am going to go nuts. I insisted on ripping out all that work on the Eyelet Cardigan because I wanted to try my hand at a different cast on. It's the perfectionist in me. If I hadn't, I would always have wondered. Now I have 5 balls of cream colored yarn again. I don't have the time to put it back together. Tuesday, May 8, 2007. All she wants to do. So, what have I been up to lately? This is a detail shot of the cast on. Chelle. In shor...
Knits from the City: April 2008

Knits from the City. Sunday, April 27, 2008. Cookie posted Moselle on her blog, so now it's fair game. I knit it over the course of three days. It was fun, a little stressful, but I'm now amazed by Wollmeise. I'll talk more about it later, but I'm just all proud of myself. I was really happy with how the sock came out. Yay Cookie! Knits from the City: This is the plan, see?
http://knitsfromthecity.blogspot.com/2008/03/this-is-plan-see.html
Knits from the City. Monday, March 3, 2008. This is the plan, see? The handspun was the final straw. I have a problem. In order to save both my wallet and my academic career, I'm putting a stop to the knitting (and purchasing! Until I'm done with most if not all of my projects (for school). In fact, my roommate is hiding my handspun when it comes in the mail so I cannot be distracted. I told her to do it. It will be my carrot. :) Or at least I hope so . Yet another blog for my thoughts. Hard week. Sad week. April 12th, 2007. April 9th, 2007. Hi all. Happy Easter. Nate and I had a great weekend. We worked hard and played hard. Things are going well. I am tired and need to go to bed. If I can get this blog to load some pictures of what we’ve been doing, I will leave you with those. Have a great week! This is the arena floor at the robot competition we got to see. It was nerdy and we totally liked it! March 29th, 2007. March 28th, 2007. Getting used to this.
