Monday, August 27, 2012. Cades First Day of School. Cade started a specialized preschool in Salt Lake today. I had to wake him up at 6 am so we could be out the door at 6:30. I told him to get up so we could go to school and he said "but mom, the sun isn't out yet! I said that it was still time to get up, and he said, "mom! How many times do I have to tell you? It's not daytime yet! Thursday, August 23, 2012. We just have Coleman". Mom, Betsy (the swimming teacher) has a puppy? Happy 2nd Birthday Coleman.

Friday, September 07, 2012. The Boys New Best Friend. We got a dog. Yes, I know, me, a dog owner. Kids sure do change things. We brought Tank home on Labor Day. We thought it would be good for Cade, especially during his transition to his new school. Tank is really turning into quite the side kick for Cade-O which makes me so happy. Cade says "We have a BIG family now! Coleman just runs around all day saying "Puppy! And tries to give Tank his toys. It's fun watching them love him so much already.

Between our ward, the neighborhood, Coleman's EI program, and Cade's school, we had quite a few Halloween parties this year. Our pictures from Coleman's school party were even in the paper. Cade's school had a parade and practice trick-or-treating which was adorable. He is getting better though, slowly but surely. His speech is also progressing, so that makes it worth the fight. Tuesday, December 8, 2009. For two days we have watched the snow fall tirelessly here in Utah. Madelyn enjoyed watching it come down and she kept reaching for the falling snowflakes. So, this afternoon it finally stopped snowing and the sun started peeking through the clouds, and Madelyn and I decided to brave the elements and play in the snow! It took us about 20 minutes to get her all dressed up for the snow! She just didn't know what to think of the many layers of clothing we were putting on her!

Monday, November 23, 2009. This past month has been filled with birthdays! Madelyn and I celebrated another year! Here's a little update on Madelyn:. She weighs 17.5 lbs. She won't be into a forward facing carseat for a while! She took her first few steps at the beginning of October and she's been getting better and better since. She's basically stopped crawling altogether. She's especially cute when she tries to go quickly! She hasn't figured out running yet! She knows she's so cute when she does it.

Saturday, December 29, 2012. So far so good! Stopped taking pain meds about two or three days after I got out of the hospital, they started making me sick. I did however take Tylenol and another stronger Tylenol at night, particularly for my bum rib. Yesterday I had "my last" appointment up in Indy with my doctor! We met up with the Dixon clan and spent the day at Bear Lake. I'd never been, and it was a great lake! A nice sandy beach, and a nice gradual slope in the water, so the boys could play safely.
