(Huzzah! And got rained on. For this southern California girl, what are the chances? James, myself, and Carly, not letting the rain get us down! Yeah, it's definitely raining now. Carly and James with my booth pre-waterlogging. Next time, I will channel my inner Girl Scout and BE PREPARED! And then I got the flu.

Tuesday, November 22, 2011. This is an illustration I completed recently that had been in production for several months. It is one of the architectural gems in the grounds of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, in London. Kew Palace is actually the earliest surviving building in the gardens, built around 1631 by Samuel Fortrey.
