Follow us on Twitter. Along with all of the hand held safety and fire fighting equipment we have the 4 following fire fighting vehicles. Pump capacity of 1250 imperial gallons. Foam system and pump and roll capabilities. Tank capacity 800 Gallons. Five Scott air packs. 1000 feet of 4" hose. 850 feet of 2 1/2" hose. 650 feet of 1 1/2" hose. Pump Capacity 1050 GPM. Tank Capacity 700 GPM. 1500 ft of 2 1/2 Hose. 550 ft of 1 11/2 Hose. Equipment and personnel Vehicle Mobile Command and Rehab Center.

Every year the department participates in the Muscular Dystrophy drive that is held throughout the Valley. The Cherry Creek Fire Department has had the privilege to be able to deliver Santa to the local department stores to the delight of all of the anxious girls and boys. Gordon Porter was the fifth fire chief and served eleven years before retiring in May 1999. Gordon ordered the 1997 Freightliner front line pumper truck, which was one of the first to have a PTO Compressed Air Foam System, and is still in service today.
