Random Travels and Exploring. Sharing the people, places and little moments that make a difference. Summertime in Northern Michigan August 7, 2015. Filed under: Random Travels and Exploring. 8212; Heather @ 4:30 pm. We’re so fortunate to have friends in Traverse City. We decided to head west toward Grand Rapids on the way so Justin could attend a beer release at Perrin Brewing Company. The park was fairly busy when we arrived but we played in a small inland lake across from the Lake Michigan beach, which...

Homemade by Mary Ann: August 2015
http://homemadebymaryann.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Homemade by Mary Ann. Cooking and baking; probably a weather report; possibly some poetry. Monday, August 31, 2015. Hard to believe it's that time of year again, but, alas. In any case, I was happy to host the MFA meet-&-greet this past weekend. Here are some pics of the food. I made four salads. Quinoa with edamame, corn, chick peas, dried cherries and pepitas. Wild rice, cantaloupe, blueberries, spinach, toasted almonds and feta. My favorite. Watermelon, tomato, feta salad. An old stand-by. Says my fri...
