This Is How We Do It. Rants and Ramblings from an Unschooling Mom. December 14, 2009. It has been way too long. It’s hard to believe that I haven’t written a post here since May. Incredible! I feel as though my life has just gone crazy in the last several months and I barely have time to think let alone come up with a post. But it’s important to maintain a record so I will try and fill in the blanks! Laquo; Blast from the past. I think I might actually cry. Evie, what a wonderful post! Iain and Ryan are ...

That’s a wrap | This Is How We Do It

This Is How We Do It. Rants and Ramblings from an Unschooling Mom. February 7, 2009. That’s a wrap. Truth be told, I’m pretty terrible in those situations and don’t handle myself well. Sean had to tell me more than once to calm down so thank goodness he was here or else the kids could have been mentally scarred by the whole experience. Laquo; Our First Day With Unit Studies. Sounds great minus the crashing, head hitting, freaking out part. Glad that monkey is ok! On February 7, 2009. Hi there Evie,.

JOY | This Is How We Do It
https://eviecurley.wordpress.com/2009/01/13/joy
This Is How We Do It. Rants and Ramblings from an Unschooling Mom. January 13, 2009. We have had some joyful moments here lately. First, Ryan lost his first baby tooth and then had a lucrative visit from the tooth fairy. Then today, we headed down to one of the parks in our neighborhood and he overcame some fears while we were there. Take a look:. The look on his face just warms my heart. Then, even scarier than the 12ft slide was the (bum, bum, bum) See-Saw! Oh how he laughed, and laughed! We are so for...

Chasing a Tornado Child - the gifted and 2e adventure. This is a window into the daily life of a mother of a 6 year old human tornado who is both gifted and learning disabled. Blue Moments: Where I'm going with this
http://jennadawn76blue.blogspot.com/2011/07/where-im-going-with-this.html
Tuesday, July 12, 2011. Where I'm going with this. Priorities, priorities, priorities - how I have to constantly redefine and organize them into their proper place. What I am thinking is of working two blogs. I know that sounds insane - to me! Since I don't do a great job of keeping this one up. But I may eventually just narrow it down to one blog in the end. I'd like to write for other venues also. But here I can practice, and thank YOU for patiently letting me. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Briel...

Blue Moments: 7/14/11
http://jennadawn76blue.blogspot.com/2011/07/71411.html
Thursday, July 14, 2011. Today is my first day home - to stay at home all day - in what feels like weeks. Once every couple of weeks my whole family sleeps under one roof. The next day, someone leaves to spend a week with their grandparents in Arkansas. It alternately feels hectic and then lacking. Routine gets boring for me, but I wish now that I had some semblance of it. Is semblance a word? There was a time that waking up that early just seemed so. 1) My family, of course.
