Would I Choose a Teaching Career, Again? Reflections From a Retired Teacher. It seems to me that as you get older it is only natural to reflect on your life and the decisions you have made. Recently, I have been pondering whether or not I would have chosen a teaching career if given the chance to do it all over. However, if I were twenty-two years old today would I chose teaching as my career? I realize that the answer to this question is not as conclusive. In fact, the best I can say is I am not sure.
