Midnight son: Beijing Olympics. Tuesday, August 19, 2008. The Forbidden City was built between 1406 and 1420 and served as the home of the emperor until the abdication of Pu Yi, the Last Emperor in 1912. It's breathtaking, something everyone should see at least once. Happy Birthday, Matt! August 20, 2008 at 2:57 AM. Ditto on the birthday greetings, Matt. Have a terrific, well, night. August 20, 2008 at 5:59 AM. It's still your birthday in Miami, so Jo and I are going to continue celebrating for you!
